Not sure I can explain this well, but here goes.
I want to make a large table with a row (call it Row 1) of numbers across the top and a Column (call it Column A) of other numbers down the left side.
I want to create a table with the product of the numbers from the FIRST row and the FIRST column in each of the cells dropping down and going across.
When I make a formula in the first cell its fine, but when I copy and paste the formulae increment by one row or one column and so I get a column of exponentially increasing factorials not simple products.
How do I write a formula that will force the contents of Row 1only to be used as the table steps down the column, and to force the use of the contents of Column A when it steps across the rows.
Thanks
